Based on a story by James Oliver Curwood. When Tao's Eskimo owner is killed, the Dane is forced into a rugged life. His son, Wapi, is a vicious sled dog. When Wapi meets a caring woman he helps her save her husband from a ruthless killer. A Black or Blue Great Dane plays both parts.
