DJ was crowned King Of Fools!
Here's how it happened as told by DJ's "mom", Lisa...
.. the days "theme" (at the Ren Faire) was the lady and the fool
and at 5:15pm they held their first annual "Fool's Talent Show".
We went over to watch.. now most these things have audience participation
so jokingly i belted out.. "so this thing only for two leggers?
Or can the four legged ones join too!" and got a lil laugh..
Well when sign up time came along the lady came over asking our name
and name of our act
I was like should I ?..
James (DJ's "dad") shrugged and said sure why not..
lol ...Hey I am all about having fun so we signed up!!
There was a total of six "acts" that went on stage including DJ and I
as Lisa & DJ in Canine Antics.
We were about the fourth to go on stage and here is what we did..
I in garb and DJ in his jesters cap hopped on stage..
and took a lil bow to the crowd.. then opened up with "What do you call a dog with no legs..?"
The crowd shouted What?.. to which we replied
"You can call him what ever you want but he wont come! "
(ok is a bad joke but fit the event).. crowd liked it..
then turned to DJ and asked "What is on top of a house?"
whispering a soft speak he then barked out a loud "ROOF!"
Big points there!
Then after that said "woohoo high five!"
and he slapped my hand with his paw hug up..
then said "now down low".. to which he placed his paw in my hand down low..
then said "how bout a hug..?"
DJ jumped up wrapped paws over my shoulders and crowd was eatin it up!!
We did a lil dance with him on hind paws
and when he went back to all fours we turned our backs to the crowd
and I tapped his by his tail saying "Thats the tail end of our show!"
We were the only one beside an precious 7 year old
who didnt get "buzzed" off stage..
This was a jester who was dressed a a bumble bee
who ushered off the acts the crowd "buzzed!"
Come to the end results and was done on crowd applause and we won!!!!
I was floored but delighted!!
Was a nice $300 gift certificate to one of the clothier places there..
The Lady and the Fool!!!
DJ & Molly ended up with a pair on belled jester collars..
and we got a buncha stufff.. I will take a picture of DJ in most the winning!!!

DJ might not show conformation anymore..
thats big bro Eagle's turf... but DJ still gots it!!
